We offer a no questions asked, money back trial on all our products, except for pillows, topper pads, and mattress protectors, which are not returnable or exchangeable if taken out of their original containers or sleeves. If they are in the factory packaged bags, in the pre-compressed state and have not been opened or tampered with, you can call us for return instructions if needed.
If you decide to return a mattress within the 365 Night Trial period, you have two options: donating the mattress to charity, or having us pick up the mattress with our nationwide removal service we use.
Almost all our customers chose to donate their returned mattress, and if they do so, we do something special: we waive our $75 return fee. We waive the fee to encourage people to donate — we like that this keeps the mattresses out of landfills, gives to needy charities, and ultimately allows someone in need to get a really amazing bed.
On a donation, we ask people to send us a receipt of the donation along with contact information of someone at the charity so we can verify the donation before issuing the refund.You can scan and email the donation slip to firstname.lastname@example.org, or fax a copy of it to (985) 727 -3099
If instead you would decide to have us pick up the mattress, the only out of pocket expense to you is a modest $75 return shipping charge. Everything else is refunded to you, for all beds shipped within the continental USA.
If we have shipped a mattress to you in either Hawaii or Alaska, additional shipping charges are not refundable.
There are no restocking fees charged nor do we charge any other additional fees. We believe so strongly in our product, and have such a low rate of return on our Habitat Natural Latex Beds, our Habitat Hybrid Mattresses, and our Habitat Air Bed Systems, that we back it up with a trial period that really gives you the opportunity to evaluate it over a good length of time…and it gives you the ability to allow some time to pass, to really field test all of the components of our bed. If you need to return it, you don’t need to apologize or give us a reason why. We want you to love our bed if you intend to keep it.

Preparing Items For Return
In the unlikely event that you need to return an item, there are specific requirements that our freight agents need to be able to pickup your products. When you receive any of our beds, foundations, or adjustable bases, it is important that you keep original packaging. Advise any delivery personnel, if they will be handling or setting up the product that you need to salvage the boxes, since components not returned in original packaging are not returnable (except for Natural Latex mattresses as described below). It is customer’s sole responsibility to advise any delivery personnel not to remove packaging materials if you would later on be opting to possibly return the adjustable base.
With our adjustable bases, there are Styrofoam support pieces that need to be salvaged as well in the event of returned items. Break down the boxes flat, so you can store them out of the way until you have made the decision to keep our products. Since our adjustable bases are fairly heavy, it’s important to keep original packaging, bags, foam packing materials, etc., so you can properly re-package them. Our removal service will not repackage, disassemble, or handle the return removal in any way other than to remove the box or boxes which are completely sealed and properly taped shut. They will not remove any unpackaged or unprotected pieces.
For Natural Latex mattresses only, since we use a vacuum packaging system before we box the mattress, there is no way you would be able to get the mattress back into the original box. To prepare the mattress for pickup by our return crew, fold the mattress length wise down the middle (like a hot dog bun) and wrap in plastic sheeting or drop cloth material (available at any hardware store). Thoroughly tape the length wise folded mattress in three places, and you’re ready for pickup.
For Air Beds, Adjustable Bases, and EZ Sleep Foundations, repackage the item in original boxes and thoroughly tape. Do not leave any openings or holes or cardboard flaps exposed, or the return pickup crew may deem the boxes unacceptable for transport.
Remove by unscrewing the legs on Ergo adjustable bases and pack with the base in a separate bag. Make sure you use the wireless remote and lie the base flat before attempting to box up.
Please note that we do not offer packaging or sell boxes for repackaging, nor do we offer packaging or wrapping services. The reason we offer a $75 return charge and not the full $100-400 actual return freight charge is because we have minimal returns and want to encourage our customers to try our products.
