How Our 365 Day No Questions Asked Trial Period Works
Our full year return period gives you the opportunity to try any of our mattresses, no questions asked, for one full year to take away the anxiety of losing your entire investment on an item that sometimes take some adaptation and adjustment to make sure it works for you. Also, buying a mattress sight unseen on the internet takes a leap of faith, and we respect and understand that. You can return your mattress within 365 days from the date your mattress was delivered, for a full refund, no questions asked. There is a modest $75 return ship charge that applies. Your refund is paid via a rebate check, and usually takes about 10-12 days after your mattress has been removed from your premises. We use a nationwide removal service to pickup your mattress, and once we are notified that the mattress has been removed, your rebate check will be issued. That’s it, it’s that easy!
Returning A Habitat Air Bed Mattress
If you decide to return a Habitat Air Bed mattress within the 365 Night Trial period, give us a call at 1-800-231-1651 for instructions. Our Habitat Air Bed foundations (the base, or “box spring” component) are not returnable due to freight costs. You can simply use the foundations or bases for any future mattress you purchase, and save the cost of another set of new foundations. Once components have been returned to our production facility, credit will be issued via rebate check. You will be refunded the full amount you paid less the $75 return fee.
Returning A Habitat Natural Latex Mattress And Hybrid Mattresses
To return our Habitat Natural Latex mattresses, you must first fold the mattress length wise (like a hot dog bun, down the middle length wise) and wrap in plastic painters drop cloth, plastic sheeting, or similar material and thoroughly tape so that the mattress remains folded in half and can be easily handled.
Give us a call at 1-800-231-1651 so that we can schedule our removal service to setup an appointment with you to remove the mattress. Once your mattress has been removed, ask the removal service for a pickup receipt which you can scan and email to us at email@example.com, or fax to (985) 727-3099. Your credit will then be processed and a rebate check for the amount of purchase less $75 will be issued.
With our Natural Latex Mattresses, you may also choose to donate your mattress, and if you do so, we do something special: we waive our $75 return fee. We waive the fee to encourage people to donate — we like that this keeps the mattresses out of landfills, gives to needy charities, and ultimately allows someone in need to get a really amazing bed.
As part of the donation process, we ask people to send us a receipt of the donation along with contact information of someone at the charity so we can verify the donation before issuing the refund. If instead you would decide to have us pick up the mattress, the only out of pocket expense to you is a modest $75 return shipping charge. Everything else is refunded to you, for all beds shipped within the continental USA. Contact us at 1-800-231-1651 for further information.
If we have shipped a mattress to you in either Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada, additional shipping charges are not refundable, and customer is fully responsible for shipment back to factory.
There are no restocking fees charged nor do we charge any other additional fees. We believe so strongly in our product, and have such a low rate of return on our Habitat Natural Latex Beds, our Habitat Hybrid Mattresses, and our Habitat Air Bed Systems, that we back it up with a trial period that really gives you the opportunity to evaluate it over a good length of time…and it gives you the ability to allow some time to pass, to really field test all of the components of our bed. If you need to return it, you don’t need to apologize or give us a reason why. We want you to love our bed if you intend to keep it.
Return Policy Details On Adjustable Base Systems, Bed Support Bases, And EZ Sleep Foundations
Our Leggett and Platt S-Cape® Adjustable base systems are not returnable or exchangeable. If you have previous systems that we may have offered, the return policy may vary. Bed support bases, of any kind, including L&P PlattForm® Bed Bases, Boyd Specialty Sleep Euro Slatted Bed Frame Bases, and EZ Sleep Foundations, are also not returnable or exchangeable. This is primarily due to the cost of shipping and the fact that most of these product manufacturers do not accept returns of any kind.
Natural Latex Topper Pads
