I love the idea of a man cave, that very cool place that used to be called the basement, but is now the place that men want to go and do their own thing. A themed man cave works for someone who loves a particular hobby or sports team. Some man caves are places for pool, air hockey or ping pong. Or maybe a many cave is just a place to chill out and watch TV or nap on the sofa.
One thing that you don’t see in many man caves is a bed or mattress. Why not? I guarantee many a lazy afternoon is spent asleep on the sofa or in the recliner of the man cave. Why not put a decent bed in there so you can nap comfortably in your cave rather than wake up with a kink in you neck?
If you are going to put a mattress in your man cave, I recommend a 100% natural latex mattress. Since a true natural latex mattress is antimicrobial, dust mite free, and resists mold and mildew, it’s perfect for a cave environment and for cave dwellers. In twenty or thirty years when the cave man decides to replace his natural latex mattress, it’s 100% recyclable and moves the cave man into the 21st century way of doing things.
One thing that is important when choosing a natural latex mattress is to make sure it is truly 100% botanically derived, not synthetically made using petrochemicals. Up to 80% of latex mattresses are made this synthetically, so it’s important to make sure what you are buying is truly natural latex.
